PM Kisan Samman Nidhi: Under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, crores of farmers are given financial assistance every year. Under this scheme, Rs 6,000 is transferred annually to eligible farmers in three installments directly into their bank accounts. However, due to some reasons this money does not come into the accounts of many farmers. AyeIt is important to know which farmers will not get the benefit of this scheme and how you can check your name in this list.
Which farmers will not get the benefit?
- Those farmers who are holding any constitutional post, like MP, MLA, Minister or Chairman of Municipality, do not get the benefit of this scheme.
- Those farmers who pay income tax also cannot avail the benefits of the scheme.
- Farmers who are holders of any institutional land also cannot avail the benefits of this scheme.
- Go to the official website – First of all go to the official website of PM Kisan Yojana pmkisan.gov.in.
- Click on ‘Farmers Corner’ – The option of ‘Farmers Corner’ will be available on the home page of the website. Click on it.
- Click on ‘Beneficiary Status’ – Inside the Farmers Corner you will find the option of ‘Beneficiary Status’. After clicking on this, you will have to select your state, district, sub-district, block and village.
- Enter your Aadhaar number or mobile number – After this you have to enter your Aadhaar number or mobile number which you have registered for the scheme.
- Get information – After clicking on the submit button, your complete information will appear on the screen. Here you can see whether your name is in the list of beneficiaries or not and what is the status of your installment.
If your name is not in the list, then you should first ensure that you have applied with correct information. For this you can contact your nearest agriculture office or get information by calling helpline number 155261.
